Re: Pastel looking for a lady!
Haha, I guess I should be better about when I post I guess. I am leaning toward a spider or a pinstripe but since I am a student on a budget there'd be some saving up for sure. I hadn't thought of a black pastel though so that is intriguing :P I'm definitely going to get a hatchling as I think it will be cheaper but also doubt my male is quite up to size yet since he was a bit skinny when I got him. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

Pastel yellowbellies always seem to be in demand, and yellowbelly females are fairly reasonably priced. Fireflys go fast as well, but female fires cost a little more.

Also consider that your male will be up to breeding size in a year or less, and at that point you will wish you had a breedable female, so saving up for a female that is a year ahead of your male might be worth it. When you factor in how much you will spend on rodents over the course of 2-3 years to get a hatchling up to breeding size, you might even save money.

Don't forget your male will appreciate having multiple lady friends as well. :gj: Soon you will have a room full of snakes, welcome to the addiction.:)
