    If it helps, my ratsnake and kingsnake rattle after eating when they see you looking at them. Before the mouse is caught, most of my snakes will wag, which is probably more about luring. After, they are probably trying to scare me away. I'm sure at this point they are PRETTY sure I'm not going to pull anything funny, but they like to warn me, just in case, lol
