I'd say too small for an adult mouse. Keep away from hamsters. Personally, I would try a fuzzy mouse or a couple of pinkies.

I'm still pretty new to this, but that hide looks really big for such a small BP. You might want to try putting a few smaller ones in there until he's older. They really like to squeeze into tiny spaces for their hides. I'm amazed how small, sometimes!

Lolz yea I read that too. Thats why I put a little one in there but he never uses it. He is always in his hot hide.

Well he's small yes Girth wise anyways. You should at least give him mouse weans. I've never used rat pinkies and most def not mouse pinks. Even with new babies that I've had to assist feed a hopper worked really well. But most of my hatchers go right to weaned mice as their first meal. If they get freaked out by the mouse weanling I use a hopper the next meal so they get the jist of it. But then they go right back to the weans. I would try to find a couple small mice or you can order a litter or two from the Petstore. They'll come with mom too but youll end up feeding her off to pretty quickly. You'll just need To set up like a container or 5 gallon tank. Whatever to house mom and the litter in while you feed them off one by one or more every 5 days.

Well do you guys think I should try and feed live? If I can find a small enough mouse? And to be honest i've never seen this little guy open his mouth once yet. He is always flicking his tongue out though. Idk if thats a good sign or something but maybe it is.

That is a good sign. They don't really open their mouths. They yawn every once in a while. But really thats about it. Seems like Shes taken to live. Were you trying ft before? Had she ever eaten ft? Sometimes they are a pain in the arse to switch over. But ya stick with live for a which. Once she has a more stable feeding regimen you could try to switch her to ft. But personally I stick with live bc it's easier for me. Anyways. Try and Get like a small mouse. I generally judge baby prey by their girth. If I have a really small baby I feed hoppers till they get some girth. But most of my hatchlings have been able to be put right on sml mice.

I believe I already said this but you may have to special order a whole litter. They'll come with mom and you'll have a months worth of food.
