    Yep they are really nice to have and I got mine at walmart also measures up to 5000g and I paid 19.99 love it.

    Yes I agreed with your post that it's really a good idea to weigh the snake. For an example: like human being weight them self to known whether they are fit or not similarly, it is necessary to wait snakes so that, one can known whether the snake is fine or not. Now, at the same time question arises from where to purchase weighing scales on which we can trust. For that I can suggest you digitalscalesaz.com on which i trusted a lot because of it's reliability.

    I also agree that weight is a very good health indicator especially when a snake stops feeding. I have a hanging digital scale I use it was like 9$ it isn't the best for accuracy but if you are using the same one each time it doesn't matter that much unless you are trying to sell it.

    ^Agreed^ Walmarts are everywhere and every store has digital scales in the kitchen section. $9 is awesome, but I got the cheapest one there at $15. After I got my scale, I even set up an excel table with feeding dates and weights of prey, as well as dates of weighings, weight, weight change, etc. It's rather interesting, in a slightly nerdy way haha
