    The issue with the stick ons is even if they ARE accurate, they do not stay accurate very long. The springs inside used to measure the temperatures degrade very quickly and you will end up with as high as a 20* difference! The digital ones do not degrade like that and stay accurate!

    Yes, the circular ones will also lose calibration every time they're bumped, banged or jostled.
