As usual Foschi Exotic Serpents has it right. I'll add that having some polysporin on hand is a good idea. I'd not use it on a stuck eye cap unless it was multiple. Just wait the snake will not be bothered by it and just spend that effort (rather than worrying about it) working on humidity and finding a method of raising it. A humid hide is a good method. Larger water bowl, a mister (remember pressure misters are finer and basically work better...)

This one is awesome it is super fine almost as fine as a fogger.

This isn't a big concern do not worry about it and just try to get the humidity up to the mid 50s low 60s and it will correct itself.

I agree that oil products does cause the scales to be softened and shed. Though this is the reason I use it very very sparingly. Just wanted to clear that up in case i didnt write it in where i suggested using that. In this case water would probably be the best option.

Thanks everyone, I do appreciate it. Yesterday I bought him a new cave, bigger water dish and some moss to keep it humid in the cave (he seemed pretty happy exploring it all last night). Thanks, hopefully I've done everything right so that he sheds better this time :D

Does it look like an oil film? My pastel had that look for a while. She had two sheds complete with eye caps so I "knew" it was not stuck eye caps. Then I switched her from tank to tub. She had better humidity in there. After her shed in the tub, her eyes looked normal. My guess is that she shed the eye caps during her tank sheds but had a hard time doing so and in the process stressed or injured her eyes very slightly. Just my thoughts.
