    In the hatchlings it was probably something develomental but, since your snake was fine before hand it could be something as simple as substrate/ snot/ infection blocking it.

    I would try and have a look at the roof of her mouth to see if there is anything obvious but booking a vet visit would be a good idea in case it is an infection or something.

    Will do.

    She lives in an animal plastics rack. I use paper towel as a substrate.

    I see people have drained the fluid build up successfully, but what can you do to determine the cause of the build up? are we able to see their tear ducts?

    also I was curious, when i've delt with prolapses, there was fluid build up, I used preparation-h to draw out the fluid, could this be a non-invasive way to deal with this? or do you think it could cause eye problems?
