So did you end up picking up this snake? I am curious to see the white patch....
-
Yeah I picked it up, I couldn't get a good picture of its sides because after a 2hr drive home it was very stressed and struck at me once already. So in about a week I'm gonna get all its stuck shed off and get a better look at its pattern. Could've just been stuck shed though, because the sand it was kept in was very fine, dusty and turned some of its shed bright white.

Re: Scar or genetics?
It's just a random white area. I've got several that have that. Completely random.

I know that now, since I went and picked up the snake lol. Like I said, I'm leaving it alone for a week, so I haven't really looked closely at the pattern.. but it does seem to have some nice white patches coming up from the belly, unlike my other normal. S/he is a cutie for sure :) I'm very happy.
Btw, I looked at your website.. LOVE it. Such a cute story :)

I'm curious, did it turn out to be a white spot or a scar?

Definitely not a scar, but I haven't gotten the greatest look at it yet. I'd love to soak him/her and check out the mystery mark and the rest of the pattern, but this one seems to be ten times more stressed than my other bp was. So, though unfortunate for my curiosity, I'm waiting one week to clean him/her off and check it out :) Sorry!

Lol had I been paying attention and realized there was a second page I wouldn't have posted my question (a reason why I shouldn't be up at 1am I guess :P). Good luck with him/her! :)

Lol, no problem, I had figured you hadn't seen it. And, thank you! I should be posting an update once s/he perks up a bit more, and I'll most likely include an update of my other "rescue's" progress :)

I had a normal male with a similiar white spot! I wouldn't worry about it! Looks like a healthy ball!

I'm not worried about it, s/he is mine now and I can tell in person it is just the pattern. I was just asking because I couldn't tell from the picture, but that was before I went and picked up the snake :) Thanks for the reply!
