Go ahead and have a separate enclosure set up for them just in case. When I tried to pair my two females together the slightly larger one nipped at the smaller one and constantly harassed her. I'm going to try again when I get my new rack in, but it's not looking good based on their first interaction.

I will do that if I decide to do the trio. I am not sure I want to commit to breeding them yet.

It really depends on the individual geckos if they'll play nice together. I've had quite a few leos, and of them I've had animals that will live together in groups just fine (0.2 for adults or 0.2 or 0.3 for babies or small juvies). Anyone thats losing weight or being bullied gets separated immediately. I have some geckos that are living in 0.2s right now, but others that are just singles in their boxes. I almost always house new arrivals separately (the only exception being if I picked up two same sized animals from the same breeder and they were being housed together before) so I can keep better track of them, know who is pooping, etc.
