Just out of curiosity am I the only person whom is crazy (OCD maybe) enough to clean the snake contact surface of the rack? My tubs are open topped and the snakes touch the underside of the shelf of the above them that is the most time consuming part. I do that every time I do the tub. I am just being overly particular?

Nah I don't think that's too OCD :P My tubs are going to be lidless in the rack I'm putting together, and if I noticed that the snakes were exploring and touching that area a lot, I'd probably at least wipe it down once. It is technically part of the inside of the tub at that point after all.
