New pied won't eat

Thanks to all for the advice! Well he is pretty defencive. And his response seems to be a feeding resonce but no strike. He dd strike and coil once but as soon as I let go of the mouses tail he let go too.
I guess ill have to wait.

His set up is a critter condo about 20 inches long by 8 or 9 inches high and 10 inches wide. He has 2 identicle hides on the heat pad and on the cold side. His temps are 80 hot room temp cool and ambients around 70-75
Bedding is cocobark kinda looking stuff. I forgot whatsits called.

Get a smaller enclosure 6 quarts tub at the most like mentioned above and provide warmer temps 78-82 and 88-92

The key with babies is to keep them warm and tight.

Hot temp definitely need to be addressed because even if you feed him and it take his meal you could end up with a regurgitation on your hand.
