The demand for double het males really isn't high...I'm sure you could find someone with an extra or few extra that they're having trouble getting rid of. No one wants a male without a female. I'd say its a great trade for the other guy...not too great for you...

Since you have a male clown and a 100% het clown female I'd be looking long and hard at trading for or purchasing a co-dom het clown female :)

*not just because I'm making co-dom hets either*
    :P

I wouldn't do it. You have a breedable female spider...with all of the awesome spider combos out there...I would keep her! I love clowns, but I still think you should keep the spider.

Am I the only one who thinks breeding a female at 900 is irresponsible?
Was she 900 when she laid last year, or is she 900 now?

Nobody said the het has ever been breed. The double het is proven not the 900 gram het.

Sounds like a fantastic deal, I'd jump on it...

If I was the other party.

Doesn't even out in my eyes, I wouldn't do it.

    1) You have no use for the male double het.

    2) The female het clown "may" be up to breeding size next year.

    3) The female spider "is" up to breeding size now (I would assume you are already pairing her up).

    4) The male lesser might be breedable now.

    5) You'd be taking away 2 genes out of your collection that you will have to purchase again down the road if you want them back in.

This looks to me like it isn't even close to being an even swap. Breed your spider female and use her offspring to buy what you really want (which probably isn't another het clown female and double het male).

Well we got another deal going on it will be the lesser male plus cash for the female het clown and I'll keep my spider female. All I have to do now is get the money. What do you guys think of this one thanks
