Re: Normal BP Is A Climber
When I first got mine she liked to climb on those temp gauges at night

Once she got settled in it stopped for the most part but occasionally she'll do it at night still when she prowls around [at about 45 to 120 min after lights out she usually makes her rounds around her cage before resettling].
Once feed day I woke up to find her like this:

She was just hanging like that, stayed there for a few hours before going into one of her hides.

You get all your mattresses custom made or do you go smaller & leave a gap? Those antique beds can't fit a modern mattress because the bed sizes were all different once you go back more than a hundred years. At antique shows bed frames usually go for firewood prices because people don't know how to get mattresses for them.
Re: Normal BP Is A Climber
I finally broke down and bought a synthetic Henry branch for my guy b/c he was climbing the temp gauges, now he just climbs the little branch now and then instead and only ever at night. It has been proven that wild bp's occasionally climb low trees and bushes to prey on birds so the whole thing about your bp being stressed may be only partially true, not to say that it isn't true in some cases.
