Pebbles as substrate?

    Pebbles would not be the ideal substrate. Plus the smell will be horrible.

    I have seen pictures of a dead snake that took the paper towel down with the rat and well the end result wasn't good...
    I don't have the pics myself or I'd share I'm sure you'd be as horrified by them as I was :(
    Paper towels are safe for the most part but...
