    Yeah, if I ever got another lizard besides a crestie, it would definitely be these guys. I had the opportunity to work with one while I was still working at Petsmart, and that little guy had so much personality and was so friendly, I almost ended up taking him home!! :D

    I'm just guessing here since I'm not that poster, but I think he meant that you take some bricks and lay two rows of them lengthwise next to each other with the ends touching. Then you can lay a large slate tile or something similar down over them, so it creates a large "burrow" the skink can crawl under, and it can choose where in that burrow it wants to be. Again, I could be wrong, but that's how I see it in my mind.

    If I ever got one, I would use some sort of natural substrate like aspen or coco fiber, but I can see why someone would want to use newspaper and I'm sure as long as you gave him enough hides and maybe some flat pieces of cork bark to crawl under, he'd be happy.
