My big normal girl just had her pre-ovulation shed last week, so we're on a similar schedule :) Your girl looks big and gravid. I'm sure this is her pre-ovy shed.

Sorry! I meant pre-lay shed. Yeah, if she's been gravid since August/September, then she's been building long enough now and looking big, so my guess is that this shed is her pre-lay shed. After this one, I'd expect to see eggs in 28 days!

I'm still learning too!
Her first lock was on 8/7. She has locked with my Spider 5 times. Her last lock was 2/9. She is now hugging the water bowl like crazy. The last time that she ate was 2/4. After she sheds I will still put my male in with her a few times to be sure. He is a little stud muffin, so If he does not lock within a few intro's, I'll stop pairing.
