being that this is my 1st year breeding balls i am not the best at palpating, a few of my other girls that are around 1700 grams i can feel the follicles inside them...but this girl is so solid(not saying im feeling a bunch of hard lumps in her by using the term solid) and big that i am having a hard time with her. i am only going off all the previous lock ups, the bowl wrapping and inverted laying that i have seen in the past from her to conclude shes on her way. but i know that is not exact either.

now i have read that some snakes will continue to eat right up to the day they lay....also they will continue to lock up with males right up till the day they lay....so i can't go off her refusing and or taking meals and locking and not locking..i'll just have to wait and see.:confused:

She does sound like she has building behaviour. This may be a pre ovy shed or a pre lay shed so you will just have to keep watching to see if she has an ovulation or if she is on her way to laying eggs. Here is a good website to check out the signs: http://www.ballpython.ca/gallery/breeding.html

i think it was a pre-ovy shed. but like i said only time will tell....yeah i pretty much have that website memorized lol...

i think it was just a pre-ovy shed...since the male and her are still locking up.
