    If the snake is still fairly small you can use a doubled over coathanger wire and bend it into a hook shape maybe attach it to a handle like a thick dowel rod or something.

    Yes wait 48 hours after feeding to handle.

    I tried picking him up today and he didn't hiss or anything just let me pick him right up. I guess he was just in a :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r:ty mood for the last couple weeks...

    Young snakes can be tempremental. Consider that if they were in the wild, most things bigger than themselves are trying to eat them and it makes sense. Most of it is usually show anyways. BP bites don't feel bad at all :) Glad he settled down though!
