My only advise to you is to remember it is much harder on us than it is on them. Especially if you are a worry wart like me.
Repeating my mantra might help you.

Chill out :D Snakes not eating at times is no biggie. Plenty of snakes can go MONTHS without eating, and plenty of adult snakes that DO eat really only need to be fed a handful of times a year.
