I think what mainbutter says is true. Some things just SHOW better. Some five combo morphs are hard to tell what they heck they are! OR, you may see traits of only three or four of the morphs, since some morphs do share characteristics. 90% piebalds are another extreme. It's cool to have one, but the snake only shows the head pattern of the other morph, whereas a 50% white snake might have a better "wow, that is different" factor. I still think having a 90% white pastel pied would be AWESOME, but! (for some) it's also a little less impressive when all you see is the pastel head and a bunch of white. With an animal like that, the owner may have it more for the pastel het pied babies it produces than the pastel pied appearance. Although I personally like the spider pieds with nearly all white, I can see why it is a little disappointing to not see the spider colors and pattern further down a pied body.
