    No there is no soldering at all! Here is a pic with it almost done. I could take a pic but dunno if you will be able to see the flexwatt. Ill try tomorow

    basically u start at the bottom, tape it down with aluminum tape, go up one of the side walls, then across that shelf the up the closest wall, across etc etc.. It took 9 feet to get each shelf with a strip of flexwatt running across.
