    Is it bad to keep frozen rodents for a year? I get bulk rabbits and rats from rodentpro and its a years supply... Ive been doing this for a year now.

    While i was in a freak out stage(lol) over a perfectly good rodent i did a little research,and from what i read you can keep frozen rodents in the freezer up to a 6months before they are considered no good.But after 6 months thats it.

    I think the smell comes more from the package than the rat. Missing toes could have just been broken off in moving around I've had some with only half a tail still attached. I occasionally get the frozen from petco in a pinch.
