Re: Trouble with warm side temps
I have the exact same thermostat from Big Apple and the same uth from zoomed. I'm having the same problem with warm side temps. The probe from our acurite thermometer is on the inside of the tub mounted above the uth. My thought for placing it on the inside was so i could tell what the temp was exactly where our snake would be basking. In order to have a temp between 90-94 degrees on warm side i too have to set the thermostat in low 80's. im gonna buy a Helix thermostat.

Re: Trouble with warm side temps
I have only had one thermostat and it is a Helix I can tell you it took me just a few adjustments to get it set and I have never had to adjust it since.

I keep my snake room a fairly constant 74 degrees and I do not think my warm side temperature has changed by more than 1 degree in the last 2 weeks.

Ok so I'm back to the uth. I don't think buster liked the uth off since he came out of his hide, I think he missed the belly warmth :) so thermostat set on 95, keeps the actual temp at 88-89. Going to do some more adjustments before I buy a different stat (paid $50 for the big Apple one). I'll update and let you know how it goes!
