I dont know why threads like this always cause a debate about which food is "easier" or "better" to feed...

If you want to feed F/T make sure it is warmed thoroughly .. if you want to feed live do so responsibly. I think that either one is fine and it is really on you and your snake's preferences.

I too have a 10 gal tank and I have two hides in it and a small water bowl i plan to change it out for a larger one around my baby's sheds but remember Ball pythons don't really like to have a bunch of open space so it is ok if the tank looks sort of cluttered to you. Changing the water bowl might make your humidity drop a bit so you may need to change the substrate of cover part of the lid ( I mentioned this because It looked to me like you are using a lamp on one side of the tank.) if all else fails you can take out the log you have in there ( the climbing one) to make room for a second hide.

I have done a lot of reading and feeding is usually spaced on a 5-7 day rotation so I think for him either up the size slightly and stick to a 7 day rotation or feed smaller on a five day, that is just my opinion based on what I have read.

I hope you get this all figured out :)

Your python acts like any snake who cruises when they are hungry like mike said. On top of that, it's a spider... spiders cruise in excess because their brains aren't completely.... right. It sounds like its eating normally. When it starts cruising in excess, it's simply time to feed it again. Pretty spider btw.
