Never heard of a Barbwire back spider... Since it came from a normal and a bumble bee and only ended up with the spider gene and what seems to be the reduced pattern from the mom I would of called it a reduced pattern spider, since the pattern is reduced from a normal spider.

not a expert, and never said I was... but chill.....

You asked and I told you, nothing more nothing less. Your trying to argue with no point. The pattern on it is a barbwire back spider. A spider is a spider is a spider. There has been no proven line to a spider besides spider. Now patterns tend to be different like you have here. Most people refer to a spider with the pattern of your as a "black back" or "barbwire" spider, if you like or not that is what it is.
I'm perfectly fine, your arguing for no reason. Why ask a question if you don't like the answer.
And as for your NERD reference, they haven't proven it to genetic so I don't have to tell them they are wrong, seeing they never said it to be genetic. There is no genetic line of a reduced pattern animal. Now in a sense it is "genetic" because it has to do with genes but that's about it. A normal spider can throw a reduced pattern or a barbwire spider.

Sorry for taking your post as a "Your wrong and I'm right" kinda comment..

I do see where you say the pic you posted is a reduced spider and has very little black pattern on it at all.

I'm still new to the game and am still seeing so many things I havn't before..

I didn't know they didn't prove that spider. All I was going off of was a pic that said Genetic banded x spider and said NERD 2003... To me that makes me think that there is 2 morphs in the snake in the picture, and me seeing mine in person it looked ALOT like it...

I got a pic from the new owner now that is it a little bigger.

Either way i beleive it is a gorgous example of a spider... Thank everyone for the comments!
