100% function for me about the only thing i did for looks was use clear caulk on the window and white caulk on the wood lol.

i think you could still build the shell of the cage like i did, since no screws are visable once stacked, only ugly part is the exposed wood for the top and bottom, but they make edging you iron on to match the melamine.

i think you could build the door frame no problem just like they show in the video with the jig, and just use the jig all along the edge of the opening of the shell, so the only "ugly part" would be on the sides where you drilled with the jig. could even go a step farther and fill those areas in with white wall puddy sand it down, bet it would hide it pretty damn good.

be way cleaner looking than what I got going on lol.

I need to post picks of the aspen 36x36x48 tv/entertainment stand/ center I built. stained ebony wash and I used black smoked lexan on the doors so you can see the electronics when they are turned on.

I think at some point I'd be very interesting in building something like this, prob a bit taller.

I was sort of curious of the process you went through.
I am assuming there is some sort of moisture protective coating on the wood?

It looks very professionally built though, nice job.
