I've been selling shed skins for like 2 years now, lol.
A complete one that isn't torn is actually pretty rare, I bet he'll get the 20 bucks for it.

I don't sell them very often, but they do sell. Sometimes it's folks who want it for metaphysical uses, sometimes it's a science teacher who wants it as demonstration piece, etc.

I have been saving all of my sheds. I am planning on doing a decoupage art project with them. Maybe add the skins around photos, drawing, or paintings.

Sudden random thought... can an unbroken shed hold water?

The shed skin dries out over time, so it can't hold water, but if you got a fresh one minutes after it came off, then it probably could. Water is very heavy though, so keep that in mind.

I have a box of complete sheds from babies all the way up to 2500 gram adult females, so maybe i've got a good amount of money that i didn't even know of!

Before I was allowed to have snakes I collected sheds! Granted, they were free (local garter snakes, friend's pets, etc) but they're very good curio cabinet pieces, and for pre-college-biology-major children they're very special. One of my prize "finds" was a perfect shed from a HUGE garter snake (almost 4 1/2 feet) and I still have it curled up in a jar. Plus I have all my python's sheds now xD
