Are you at least still in touch and negotiating with the seller? If you want any help putting together a BOI presentation, just let me know. :)
Thanks! And no, I have not been in touch with him... I've sent two emails & photos in the last few weeks, with no response whatsoever. You can read the whole story here: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...eck-very-upset!
Re: Freshly-shed Lesser (Cordelia)
lessers and butters are coming up on my favorites list, lol. but i have a question...do they lose the brightness in their pattern as they get older?
sounds like the neck kink does not complicate the eating process, which would've been very unfortunate. i hope your able to get the situation resolved with the breeder, maybe not return her or anything like that but at least make them look into the possibility that the kinks may be passed on to other babies from that momma...and/ or the daddy...i dunno.
anyways cordelia is a beauty.

Based on the adults I've seen, no they don't lose their brightness and pattern... they just change color slightly, usually becoming more "platinum-colored" (hence the name?) or greenish like adult Mojaves. Sometimes they look even better when they age! Here's a fairly classic example: http://pics.hoobly.com/full/445L5TCT3BQM.jpg
P.S. Cordelia's already about a year old, so her coloring shouldn't change too much more.

Oh, she definitely has the eating thing down pat! :D I still want to keep her regardless, but just feel I deserve a partial refund - considering I purchased a breeding quality lesser at full price, and was unknowingly sent one with a kink. Now I don't even know if she can be bred, so the investment potential (main reason I got her) would be completely blown. Anyway, I should save the ranting for my general thread...
