So Just need to know how to turn at a curb cause if i dont
Ill be in the middle of the street

Turn??? at a curb.. so your in a drive way? either... just stop yourself? put a foot down... or you need decent balance to press down on the tail and lift the front of the board, and spin in the direction you want to turn... (usually you dont push the tail all the way down to the ground, unless your trying to stop and put unnecessary ware on the deck)

Here's one from the old guy. I truly can remember taking a metal skate apart and making my first skateboard with the skate and a piece of 2x4 lumber. I can also remember making a contraption called a scooter. This was made with a metal skate, a 2x6 and a couple of pieces of 2x4 lumber. The skate was held onto the lumber with nails. If the skate fell off while riding, you'd just go home and drive a few more nail through it.
