cremation, but i work at an animal hospital and it's free. I may consider skinning and tanning , it would be cool to have the skin.

    Taxidermy
I haven't gotten around to tanning my reptiles yet, but I have a lizard skin and two snakes to take care of in my freezer. My friend is taking the bones and mounting them, she is a biology major at the local college. Snake bones are a pain to deal with for me. I prefer bigger mammals. I'm keeping my snakes in one form or another, I'm not going to mount them because most amateur taxidermy looks creepy and I don't want my former babies creeping me out, but I'm thinking of framing them as a hung picture kind of thing. I don't mind dead stuff and it helps me remember the time I had with them. Also makes me want to do my best for those who are still around so I don't feel I have to save too many bodies. I'm curious to talk with anyone who has done any taxi work with herps.

RIP to my lost ones <3 gone but not forgotten, sweeties...

If they were healthy I might think about feeding them to a monitor or something like that. That is if I had one xD But since I don't I'd probably see about making some awesome snake skin boots... Or buried if I was really attached.

the only problem i see with burying my snakes is eventually im gonna have alot of holes in my backyard after many years of collecting and breeding eventually they will all die hopefully it will be 30 years from now but still thats alot to bury and alot to skin so i think i would bury my first 5 mount the cooler ones i have and then trash the rest

I think a mounted skin would be great. Funny, I think it's weird to stuff a dog...

But it's probably a moot point, since Fang will no doubt outlive me.
