    I wouldn't worry to much. I have had some stay pink for days. As for the blood My guess is that it is from the male. It is not uncommon for them to leave blood trails when they are mating.

    it doesnt look like there is anything to get too worried about yet. keep an eye on it over the next week or so and look for swelling or any redness, also check ur male for the same thing. what is ur breeding schedule like. be sure not to over do it. also i know that most people only move the males around while breeding and leave the females alone as much as possible.

    My breeding schedule is 3 days on, remove, feed the next day, leave for 3 days to digest, then reintroduce.

    OK everybody, she went into blue today. We've got a major cold front (as far as Florida goes) coming in tonight. Wish me luck when I reintroduce him. Will she lock when she's in shed mode?
