DON'T USE TAPE WHATEVER YOU DO!!!!! Use the pillowcase like Judy suggested or another thing that works really well is dab a single drop on mineral oil on each eye and put him back in his cage. He should get them off by morning and no harm done with the mineral oil.

Well I tried the wet pillowcase, and he didn't get them off in there. I put him back in his cage, he's had enough adventures today. I'll see if I can try the mineral oil tomorrow.
