Well i just got home from Petsmart putting out all the Black Friday tags. Ball Pythons are only $29.99 and so are bearded dragons. Certain tropical fish are only 80 cents and then a ton of treats, beds, collars, and stuff are all 50% off.

Also most small animals are 50% off also, so if your looking for a hamster, Friday is the time.

I'm so tempted to get one of the 2 female normals we have, but i already have too many female normals, so i will wait.

I could never be away from Baltimore on Thanksgiving day. All of my sons have attended or are attending a private school and they have a 93 year football game tradition. The Turkey Bowl. We've enjoyed it for the last 10 years. It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without being at the game.

Maybe one day we'll get together. I'm sure we'd have a great time.
We are probably going to do Hawaii for our 2 week vacation this coming year, but we may take a quick 3-5 day vacation to the Grand Canyon.

We also travel up to Glouocester Mass to do some whale watching a few times during the Summer. Talk the husband into traveling there. Talk about a humbling experience. I would recommend everyone do this at least once in their lifetime. PM me your email address and I'll send you a few pictures of out last trip in August.

Take Care and I hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving.

Jim - Have fun playing football in this weather. BURRR COLD RAIN!

I have done Black Friday once in my life, and that was when we lived in this tiny town in Tennessee. Even if the WHOLE town went to Walmart, it wasn't too bad. People were still really bonkers though. We got a bunch of great things that year, and it was fun, but I would NEVER EVER EVER think of doing Black Friday here in Baltimore.

I would be afraid of getting killed over the lame new hot toy for this season.

Main thing I was looking for was a laptop for one of our girls. Best Buy has an Acer 15" with 250gb hard drive and 2gb of Ram for $250 online. There are slightly better deals available with Doorbuster sales, but it's worth paying the extra $50 or so to not be at Walmart at 3am.
That laptop deal is available now online and I ordered one for her this morning. She's 13yrs old and this will be perfect for her.

I posted this in my Gadget Geek forum, but I figured I'd throw it in here as well since it's fitting.

For those of you on AT&T all of their quick messaging phones are free and the really great new Windows Phone 7 Smartphones are buy one get one. You can even take advantage of it if you already purchased a WP7 device already.

Tmobile has buy one get one on the Windows Phone 7 beast that is HTC's HD7 as well as plenty of deals on messaging phones.

Verizon is offering free Jawbone bluetooth headsets with select Smartphone purchases and many nice phones like the Droid Incredible are free free free!

Amazon will have some excellent deals as well, but keep in mind that most online dealers like Wirefly and Let's Talk have you sign an additional agreement that can take a Smartphone early termination fee all the way up to $600-$700 so shop smart. Shop S Smart (Couldn't resist the Bruce Campbell reference)

im getting my kids the 4gb xbox with a copy of black ops from kmart for 200.00. And we are getting some games from walmart and target and kmart they have nice sells on there games and movies but thats usually the only thing we get. The higher end electronic stuff is usually very numbered and I would rather pay more then have to fight someone over it.

    Ditto. Ditto. Ditto !!

    LOL

On top of that, so far I've always outdone my friends with online deals I've found :)

well I survived...lol. Actually it was pretty smooth sailing for us. No huge lines. Our first store was the PX on base and of course no one will act crazy there....lol. Was able to get my son the x box 250gb for @299 w a $50 gc. No fighting smooth sailing...yea. We went to Sears for a camcorder for him as well and again...no lines. Old navy...no lines...Wally World no lines... Was a bit of a line at Game Stop but not more than 4 ppl. So all in all a pretty easy black friday.

I have to say for me this years sales were disappointing, I will have to do a lot of shopping online as most everything my son wanted is either not in stores or not on sale.

Wally World has Halo Reach on sale for $35 which is pretty good.

Not sure about your area but I can say our Walmart had a BOAT LOAD of stuff left. Tons of TVs, and computer storage devices that did not sell in the am hours. If your on the hunt for a TV....you might find some good deals there. Just make sure to do your research on the TVs before hand. My hubby loves to use Crutchfield.com to research his electronics.
