Thanks guys! I got a super because I figured if I was going to have it for 20+ years I'm going to get one I really like!

Unfortunately I fail at taking video with one hand and opening a box with the other, so the unboxing vid was a fail. But I took a little vid of him right after I got him out.

Took some pics before putting him in his tank. His name is Sloane. He weighs 55g, so he is just a little baby!

Thank you, he is absolutely gorgeous, keeping my fingers crossed he doesn't brown out too much. Yeah, I only slept for about 2 hours the night before, but once I got him all settled in his tank I slept for about 5 more hours haha I'm so excited to be a part of this great community. :D

Here is the little vid I shot!

Nice snake. He's tiny! They grow so fast though. My Mojave was 85g and a little skinny when i first got him, but now almost 2 months later, he's 170g.

If you don't mind me asking, which camera/camcorder did you use for the video? Was it shot in the day time or night time? I'm looking for a new camera/camcorder and the quality of your video was pretty good.

Thanks, it is a Canon Powershot SD1400IS, just a little point and shoot, but it takes HD video, and it is nice looking camera. I can't wait to see how this little guy is going to grow in the next couple of months.

EDIT. These pictures were taken during the day, with some natural but mostly artificial lighting in my bedroom.

Awsome colors.....be careful not to overhandle him. This could cause him to stress and not eat. I got my new baby on Thursday and put her in her habitat. Had surgery on Friday, so I wasn't really in a mood to play with her. But, I fed her on Sunday and after her time to digest! I pulled my beautiful Black Pastel BP "Chevelle" out to play. Had her out for about 30 minutes. My Pit Bull was very interested in her....lol!

I know not to overhandle. Which is why this timing is good because I'm going to be very occupied with Thanksgiving this weekend, so between that and school early next week that is a nice amount of time for him to remain undisturbed before feeding.
