Oh I agree. Its gross. But then again, single men tend to be gross too, hahaha!

I love their faces!! I just got my first burm, too, a rescue that I took in from a fellow in Florida who did not get the appropriate permits in time. He's a normal, but I really love the albinos, too... but my lady has put a limit on the number of burms in the house, so my normal will have to do. :-) They grow fast once they start going... we've had our guy since August and he was skinny and rather runty. We've got him on medium rats since and he's really taken off.

I always get so jealous in posts like this. I would LOVE a burm, but I am just too concerned about managing their size with just myself as the keeper. These are beautiful, beautiful snakes, and if there were a way I could own one comfortably and safely, I would. I really love the hypos too.

Huge congrats on your gorgeous new addition!:banana::banana::banana:

    Nice coloring.

From the pictures his skin is semi loose in spots pointing me towards slight dehydration. Few soaks and fresh water daily will fix that.

I'm not too certain the care he got before. I got them from a guy I had actually dealt with about 2 months ago (sold him a crested gecko), and back then he told me that his wife basically hated any and all snake and reptile, and was trying to make him get rid of everything.

Sadly, AFTER we got the snakes from him, he sent me an email telling me the crested gecko he got from me 2 months prior died weeks ago from 'unknown reasons'. I'm glad we got what we could from him, in hopes to save them, and give them happy homes.

Well apparently her complaining endlessly worked, because he was selling his whole collection off a few months later. My husband actually told me he brought the snake (an hour drive) in his pocket. We've got him in quarantine right now for a few more days, and soon we'll try feeding him. He's got a nice big water dish, and a hide which he seems to love.

Wow, he's really nice looking, congrats on he pick ups! He may well be my favourite albino burm to date, with his nice dark oranges.
