I'm pretty sure that most of the time pet stores don't stock sick animals on purpose. I feel, however, that store employees could be trained a LOT better than they are. Most of the advice that is given out is to benefit the profit of the business.
OK, thanks for sorting that out for me. I didn't mean to derail, but I also don't want the OP to feel like they did a bad thing or feel worse for trying to help. It's in some peoples nature. I've almost become a victim of it myself.
I am glad OP is trying to help and give this animal a good chance at a healthy future and I think he found the right place to get help. Keep us updated OP, and follow JordanAng420 advice. :gj:

Re: crust leo eye!
okay so what i did yesterday was put him in a little plastic container with moist paper towels on the bottom and put it in his cage...
i left the lid off of the container so he could get out and do what he gotta do...
i woke up this morning and he was completely fine.. like his eyes were wide open and he was completely shed.... i fed him some calcium dusted gutloaded crickets this morning he ate like 5-6 small crickets... im proud of this little guy lol!
so yea i think he should be fine now :D
thanks all who helped!
