    I wouldn't worry about it as long as everybody's cages are well secured. I have a small dog, and I have 3 parrots and 2 snakes that all have cages in the dining room. Well, it's supposed to be the dining room.
    I just have special times that each type of animal comes out. I think the snakes have gotten used to seeing the birds. When the birds waddle around on the floor, they don't even pay any attention to each other. Now, if the cages were open, it would be different.
