Silicone bracelets are one of the best ways for schools to raise money. Bands, drama clubs, sports teams and other activities rely on the sale of silicone bracelets to raise money for trips, new equipment, uniforms and other needs.

I second the T-shirt idea. You can pre-sell shirts so you only order as many as you sell. I do know a place you can get a much better deal than the website listed above though. I have know schools to easily raise over $1000 selling shirts for a short period of time. Here is the contact for the company.

Im not sure where you live so this might be complicated but if you live near any major city you could try and contact a sports team to see if any players would be willing to do an autograph signing. The player(s) would come out to the school and you could charge like $20 an autograph. The player would most likely be willing to do this bc it would associate their name with a good cause. Im also not sure how big your school is so if not that many students would be interested then advertise it to the public too or tell other schools nearby and have them announce it to their students too. If its a popular enough sports star then you could probably get alot of people.

All of these ideas are great and I have used most of them in the past. Another thing that has worked is auctioning baskets. Have groups create gift baskets and auction them off at a bake sale or event. Usually you can make the baskets on the cheap and even get some donated! Have a base price of 20$ or so and good luck!

Take note that this thread is over a year old. Not sure why it got bumped, but I doubt the OP is paying attention anymore. ;)
