Keep her...NEVER under any circumstances sell an animal that is not 100% healthy and eating regularly on it's own. She will either eventually get the hang of it or she will not survive. If you sell her as a "non-eater" and she does not make it the customer will more than likely trash your reputation and name. Even it the transaction is 100% above board, it's just not a good practice....Just my honest opinion.

It's really up to your level of frustration over the feeding.

We had the same thing happen. We had a bp hatch on 7/31 that didn't start eating on his own until 11/1. Then he hasn't eaten anything again as of today.

We will keep this snake and do our best to care for him as he is part of our family (my one and only normal! Actually, we won another normal from the Bailey contest but she's gonna live in school, so she doesn't really feel like she's ours.)

I understand, though, that this can get really frustrating - my husband has been at the end of his rope once or twice! So, if you really can't deal with it anymore, it would be better to have him adopted out to somebody who is willing to work with him. Just be honest and upfront about his condition. I got my very pretty yellowbelly from Tim Bailey for $75, so I don't know if you're gonna get that much for him. It would probably be a better idea to just have him as a freebie offer.

    Just my 2 cents.

I would never sell a non-feeder (and I consider one that needs to be forced or assisted a non-feeder)

If I was ready to give up on a snake because I just could not get it to feed, I would offer it up for adoption, with full disclosure.

If the animals was to "valuable" to just give away, just in case it might start eating eventually, well I would keep it and keep trying.
