Ok thanks maybe that no float stuff will be better but all the Lowes and HD's I've tried in raleigh only have the Timberline brand in a big yellow bag.

Yea that is similar to the stuff I bought. I guess I just don't like how long the stuff is.
But keep it updated I might end up switching, I know I will for my burm.
But I think I finally found something for my BP's that would be GREAT. We call it Rhino Skin at work. It's a cloth like substance like a shamwow and is ment to be used in labs to absorb the spills, dry quick and never mold.
Either that or a guy on Fuana is selling pre-made absorbent paper cut out for tubs. Getting a price quote now. But as of right now everyone is on paper towels Target had a sale on a pack of 18 for 15 bucks.

Re: Cypress mulch
the best cypress mulch that I am aware of is by Kamlar and can be found at most garden centers. I would not use the bags from lowes or HD due to them being a mix of pine and other hard woods. You can email Kamlar to find out where you can find them at...website is Kamlar.com

We've called the Company that produces the Cypress Mulch for Lowes and it is strictly Cypress. Also the saws are sanitized between cuts so Cedar and Cypress aren't cut on the same saw.
People have been using this mulch for years without any issues, so i don't see where you heard it was a mix of woods??

Re: Cypress mulch
if you look at the bag it reads cypress mulch mix. meaning it is mixed with other woods. I went to lows and HD and spoke with the staff they told me when I walked in that they dont cary a cypress mulch only a cypress mix. I am not debating that its safe to use I am only saying that Kamlar has mulch that is 100% cypress..
