I have an X10 and the Captivate as well. I'm a big fan of the X10, but I'm waiting for their Android update before I mess around with it much again. The Galaxy S devices are nice. The new Samsung Focus Windows phone 7 device uses the same display. After using it I'm deciding between that and the HTC Surround for WP7.
The folks on this site have pretty solid taste in phones :)

I got the iPhone 4 and I think it's just the right size, but man, I have a hard time holding that darn thing, it's so slick. I'm always afraid of dropping it. So, my husband got this big Otter Box (the one that's about half an inch thick with the hard casing with rubber wrapping) and it makes my iPhone almost twice as thick but now I'm much more comfortable with it.
Sometimes a small phone can be too small...
OtterBox is the only case I will ever buy for my phones. They are expensive but money well spent. I also like the added bulkiness they add to the phone, heres a video of a drop test for iphone with an otterbox defender case from a rooftop, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tV2NwC7_9MM

My HTC Incredible is perfect for me - for now. I love the HTC interface. I've picked up friends' Motorola Androids and been completely lost! I'm sure if given enough time playing with them, I'd like them - but this phone was my first Smartphone, and it was intuitive for me right out of the box.
I am, however, eyeing the next generation for my next upgrade! Karl's like actually has an upgrade available now and he's quite pleased with his phone that's just a phone, and won't be using it. Or I can wait until April and just upgrade my own line.
This is what I have my eye on currently - although it will probably be re-named and the launch date is more likely to be in Q1-2011 rather than Q4-2010.
