My house is extremely dry in winter at 40% max and i never mist the snakes unless in shed.

Granted i use racks and humidity is probably closer to 50s, dont sweat it so much. Just be sure you mist the tank good during sheds.

I have done everything to help with humidity. I mist my tank, put water over the heating pad, tried sphagnum moss, covered the top of the tank. I'm lucky if I can keep humidity at 30-40%

I have found a great solution. Edgar eats every 4 days , 2 days later I soak him in a plastic tub. I put luke warm water 1/3 way up his body, put the lid on top and I let him soak for about 20 minutes. He sheds perfectly every time. I get a full shed and he poops well.
    Give this a try

its hard to get a humidity reading inside a hide unless you have a lose substrate same with temp.. it took me a wile to figure out why it was saying i had like a 20% and then i finally realized my snake was laying on top of the probe like 21 hours a day! lol but i just switched to coco husk yesterday and so far its been nothing keeping it above like 55 i think ive misted twice in 48 hours.. once was unnecessary but his shed is stuck like glue on his first like 5 or 6 inches :(

To get the shed off you can assist on getting the bigger parts off manually pulling slowly with the scales.

With whats left toss him in a wet pillow case and tie it off. Stick it back in the cage on the warm side for 45 mins and this should get rest off.
