I thought it was super spinner bee, but killer spin sounds much better.

I believe you, sir, are mistaken. This morph without the spider gene is a "Super Blast".

When spider is present in this morph it is a Killer Blast.

Killer Spin and Killer Blast makes more sense to me with the trend of other super pastel names.... why'd we break the trend?

Please take a gander at the world of ball pythons morph list and see that I indeed am correct.
Also see that a super blast and killer blast and the same morph.

Just remember everyone that people might simply have their own name for it..names change over the years.. super Pastels used to be called Opals, super lesser's had a name at one point, People feel then need to discern between a Pewter and a black pewter..

So killer Blast, Killer Spin, Killer Spinner, or whatever is just a name.. doesn't change the genetics.

While I do agree with FreakieFrog, another thing to consider is geography. KillSpin is used more in Europe, whereas KillerBlast is used more in North America. Just like ball python vs. royal python.

If a super pastel combo contains spider, it is referred to as Killer. If someone said to me "I just hatched out a KillerMojave", I would assume it was a super pastel spider mojave...

That's why a SuperBlast is a super pastel pin, and a KillerBlast is a super pastel spinner...

Must be another geography thing because here in the state's Killer means super pastel.. Like Killer clown, Killer Bee, Killer Queen Bee, Killer Blast aka Super Blast ect ect.. when it has spider in it we refer to it a bee, when it has both Pin and Spider it is a spinner or Spin (as a play on the spider Pin) , Pastel and pin it is a Blast..

so like an Albino Spinner or a Axanthic Killer Bee..

it get so confusing I quit trying to keep up.. LOL

i prefer the name kill spin. Im shooting for them next year as long as my killerbee female is ready to go. The male lemon blast is a proven breeder already so just waiting on my two prize females to finally get large enough to have a sleep over with him.
