    Perhaps your "HTC Droid" colors are off. :) Your welcome to come on by and see them in person if you would like... I believe you used to have ASF's before it was determined that they are illegal in your state... you should remember that the sheen of their fur is quite different then normal rats.

    No - they are not off. Looks the same on my computer. Not even a HINT of black in that picture - not by any stretch of the imagination. Sorry.

    Sheen has nothing to do with color.

    Sorry, but they're agouti here too, and the last one is cinnamon. When a black animal is photographed with flash, the black comes out black because it's black. The sheen on any black fur will never make an animal brown.

    Sorry, I never got to take them. :P

    The pups in question are old enough now, that their coats are starting to turn colour. The ones that looked black are still extremely dark, but I think they're going to turn out to be acceptionally dark agoutis. :)
