    Thanks everyone for the kind words. I feel better everyday i see this guy do what he/she is SUPPOSED TO DO. I just went in to check temps with the IR Gun and hes all comfy in his hide poking his head out of the shadow just enough to see me.

    As far as i know, he never had a hide his entire life, so this might be heaven for him. Hes actually switched from the hot hide to the cool hide a bunch of times, most of my previous snakes would choose one side and remain for a while, but hes never had this opportunity, so i guess he has some tough decisions.

    I think I'm going to go the safe route and quarantine for 60 days. But all depends on overall health observations and any Vet related instances, at least 30 days to be safe.

    Previous owners said he was fed a "large" rat once a month, or 2 "mice" every 2 weeks. Although this isn't terrible, i would prefer to bump it up a bit. Also owners said "he was feeded and sheded last week." So i guess he is good to go? :D
