You really need to check within a 10' radius of the rack with a magnifying glass. They really don't go far usually. As tiny as she is, she'd be extremely easy to miss if she's wedged somewhere tight.

    Don't give up hope!

The morning I noticed her gone I tore up the reptile room. I took almost everything out of the room (thoroughly looking through each thing first) and looked multiple times in every part of the room. Moved my hatchling and adult rack. I shook and washed literally every piece of clothing and my sheets/comforter.

I also tore up the bedroom next to the reptile room as well as the bathroom and my front closet which holds a lot of storage. Moved the fridge, reached down every vent as far as I could go. I just cannot find her.

Lifted up the couches and chairs in the living room as well.

    Couldn't find 'nothing.

I left 4 "lures" out last night. 2 with live rats in them and 2 with frozen rats. She wasn't in any of those lures this morning. I left flour trails in front of the reptile room door and in front of the lure openings. I also taped plastic bags on every wall in the reptile room. There's absolutely NO evidence that she is still in that room.

I have completely lost hope in finding her. Either she is stuck somewhere or no where near the reptile room. If that's the case there's no way I will find her.

I just don't know what to do at this point. She was a truely unique animal and I am SO ticked off at myself for doing this to her. I lost an animal that would've been a great breeder for me.

Re: Well it's Finally Happened.. An Escapee.
Try to relax and stay positive. There are lots of stories that I have read of people who forget about the snake after it escaped, and then one day it slithers out into plain sight. Don't give up hope just yet ;)

Keep your hopes up! Im sure you will find it soon. Ive read stories of ppl finding them alive and well a couple months or weeks after they have escaped. Stay positive! Im sure its in a spot that is super obvious. Ask yourself, "If I were a bp where would I go?" haha

Keep your head up and calm down. If you're frantically looking you might overlook somewhere. I just had an escapee myself today, my 100g male mojo was missing when I went to check on them before school tonight. I slowly and methodically went over every corner inch and ended up finding him curled up between the mattress and the wooden bed frame!!

I lost my tiny hatchling also when he was very small and couldn't survive without food for long. They can fit into some tiny places, I found him about 12 feet from his enclosure up on a random shelf in a little tiny box.

    Keeeeep looking.

If you can find someone else that can look in the room, this may prove to be your best bet. You're so used to seeing snakes, your eyes can skim right over your snake and your brain won't realize it.

By asking someone else, someone that isn't as used to looking at snakes, that person will possibly see more than you.

    Good Luck!
