The "diarhea" may have been the snake musking you. But if she continues to have runny stool, you'd definitely want a vet visit.
You could either contact him and say you want to return the snakes for a full refund, or take the loss, keep them in QT, possibly take them to the vet if they don't improve, and hope for the best.
So sorry you had issues with your purchase. I hope it works out for you.

Candace i can assure you none of these snakes has respitory. they are all healthy. the larger on may have runny stool because of very little food in its system with alot of water. she drinks plenty of water but has been off food for weeks. the heat in shipping can cause this. i already noted to her they all 3 were in shed and i was running short on time getting them shipped so i couldnt get it all off before shipping. you have 30 days and no need to over react. i have proper caging and living for all my stuff. my heating is always on target so like i said there is no chance of respitory. get back with me in a week and let me know how they are. i am no rookie at what i am doing here. i am very striaght up and honest and i will hope on your end that i get happy customers. they are great snakes. like i told her give them a few days and then offer them food. now on the other hand here with there being 30 days in my guarentee take my word for now that they are fine. let me know what you think in a week. i will tell what they need during these 30 days. hey, i dont mind giving you the money back if there is any real issue here. i can assure things will look better, much better. its on you to run to the vet at this point. but i know its not in need right now. it will be a big waste of time and money. it wont be my money being spent on a vet visit right now. lets give them a week or two and then tell me something. i can make you a video of my collection so you can see what kind of stuff i have and they are all healthy. they all feed on live rats. no need to panic at this point. does that sound fair?

His name is Jason Lucas, his email is izzysweetz@yahoo.com and his fauna username is JLucas. I'm afraid if I make a negative post on the BOI he will definitely not try to help me..
He's no rookie, yet he was unable to refund your money because he's already spent it.
A smart experienced seller doesn't spend money until the animals are delivered and the customer is happy. I like to wait a week or two on top of that, to ensure the funds are available in the unlikely event (knock wood - never, to date) that I need to refund my customer for any reason.
It's good that you're taking them to the vet.

Re: Problem!!
hello,
I am the lady Joe was referring to whom had an inquiry thread up on this guy on Fauna. He had a het red axanthic female I was very interested in, but passed on her ( thankfully!) due to rodent bites. He was honest about them when I asked about them. His responses and all were timely and I had no other issues with him, just did not wish to purchase a scarred snake. this was in May of this year.
i know someone pmed me asking how my transaction went on fauna, but i cleared out my inbox. If op is the person who did so, I am so sorry I didnt have steered you clear- i honestly had no way of knowing this would have happened.
I would not settle for sick animals. If I sold you animals, and my animals are healthy, and you proved they came in with respiratory infections, or something wasn't right with them, I would want you to take them to the vet to know for sure! Perhaps he was trying to dump them quickly? he said he was open for offers on the het red- of course after I ask about the bite.
In my opinion, I would post something on the BOI. If you dont feel like doing a bad guy thread in fear o fhim not doing anything, do an info thread, just stating the facts of what happened, and that there might be some resolution in the future according to what he is claiming... but its there in public for everyone to see ?? I, personally, would like to know this if I was interested in purchasing anything from him.
I wish you the best of luck, wish the snakes themselves the best of luck with this. If there is anything that I can do that will deem helpful, just let me know.

lol joepythons, I just found that link on that thread on Fauna, and that's how I ended up here :P :P
I hope his business becomes nonexistent if the story is true (sounds like it is!). That's ridiculous. Sorry, OP, about the snakes. :(

Thanks for the info everyone! Here is an email update. I tried on my alpha pants and sent him this:
I can assure you that the snake with bubbles coming out of her mouth and popping sounds is sick. It does not sound fair at all for you to decline to send money to cover vet bills when you said we had a 30 day guarantee. And where is the card you said you would write for the het albino male stating genetics and your "guarantee"? Right now your word is meaning nothing to me and the Fauna Classified's BOI will hear about it and so will everyone on BP.net if you do not figure out a way to make this right. You will find yourself having a very difficult time selling your snakes if that happens.
And this is his reply:
i can assure you i already have a good rep. but anyhow, i will contact a local vet there myself and personally make the appointment and pay the bill over the phone. when is a good time to bring her in for you all? let me know when is best asap so i can call them up. its weird like you said for it to happen over night but i guess it did because here she was perfectly fine. what do you all have them in for caging? i just got some photo paper and i will get you a card made up. give me a good day and time for a vet appointment.

Sounds like that got him moving ;)

Re: Problem!!
So this guy is no "rookie" but he thinks a snake can get URI during overnight shipping .Then he states over and over about anyone can compare his collection and husbandry to thiers anytime .You know who he sounds like? Ole Allen Belcher :P.I wonder if thats who he learned from? Well at least he has changed his attitude some. When you take the snake to the vet he pays for please show us the results and the fact he paid the bill. Then we will see if he is a good guy who dropped the ball but fixed it.Or a scumbag to avoid.

Re: Problem!!
the thread on fauna got a responce from him as well after mine.... perhaps he just needed soem pressure

Re: Problem!!
So now the snake has been diagnosed with URI and dehydrated. So his snakes are not perfect like he tried to pretend they were :colbert:.In my opinion he should refund you all your money and take his snakes back on his dime.

The sick albino girl had a vet appointment today. Jason picked the vet and paid. She has an RI and was dehydrated. The vet also said she saw some brown spot that "looked" like mites, but she didn't say for sure so I won't hold that against him. One more thing.. when she flipped her on her back, she took a while to roll back over. Obviously this could be because she is sick, but according to the vet there is a virus going around that makes snakes lethargic, and you can't tell if it is there until they die. Has anyone heard anything about this? I'm not suggesting the snakes he sent us have it, I'm just curious since she mentioned it.
