I've always seen my snakes drink often. But mine were (and are) in display cages. The new ones will be once they are big enough for the display cages, as well.

The ball pythons I've had for years would even drink from the nozzle of the mister. I would let the water drip out and they drank.

My new Bumble Bee drank right after she arrived from shipping. She took a looooooong drink, too !!!

If I only had one or two, I doubt I'd ever see them drink.:)

Thats true, the more you have the more often you'd see them drink I think. tell me, isnt it cute though? lol!

Thats another thing, in display cages its probably easier to spot them drinking. Harder with a tub thats on the ground :)

That bumblebee must have been really thirsty during the shipping, to drink as soon as she came into your care right infront of you! lol

The most I ever see that little guy is on feeding day or when he's hungry. I've seen him yawn. I'll go in at night and check on the geckos and he'll poke his head out, usually when he's hungry. I guess since I bumped him up to rats, I have not seen him cruise around the tank anymore. I know he moves though, because he swaps hides from morning to evening.

I rarely see my snake drink, but then again I don't spend all day every day watching her in her cage. Usually if I'm giving my attention her way, she's out of her cage.

However, I do regularly see at least SOME of my various reptiles drinking at some point during the day/night.

Ah so you have a secretive little guy :)

Hes sneaky, goes from hide to hide at night lol! hes like my boa right now, she seems to be in the hot side hide all day or the cool side hide all day but I never see her move.

Some snakes are just sneaky like that though

Yep, our guy seems to drink the most right after we've had him out for a bit - he's a lazy guy so he'll let us hold him while he stretches his body into the tank and drinks. :)
