Awww so CUTE! My hairless just had babies today too. Im still giving her time before I go count them. Her first litter, but I've had hairless quite a while now. So far we haven't had good luck with them. They don't seem to be very good moms. My last hairless mom ate most of her babies. Very sad. Good luck with yours though. I hope you have better luck with them then we have had.

Yeah, I've read that it isn't uncommon for hairless females to have issues with abandoning babies, eating them, or lactating issues (not enough or not at all). It seems a lot of hairless breeders recommend breeding a hairless male to het. females or do het. to het.( like how I ended up with hairless).

Btw, the 13 pinks look like all normals and are from a wild type (agouti) mom.

It's the same breeding dwarf rats.
I use my male to make hets with full size females then breed the male dwarf to the female hets to make half dwarf and half hets.
Female dwarfs don't normally lactate well either.
