    Re: Midwest Reptile show anyone?
I picked out a super looking Mojave male. Reduced pattern and lots of white on him. The guy that was selling snakes in the front of the building right corner was an real ..... Let's just say I was in the market for one of his snakes and had the money with me. His personality made him go home a few grand poorer than he would have been if he were a decent person to deal with. I almost made it home with a pied female but the breeder had no feed or hatch records on it. Just didn't seem right to me so I will wait and save more money for the big show in Chicago in October. It was a nice show though, I haven't been to it in about 7 or 8 years. I plan on going back to it. I haven't tried Noblesville yet. Is it any good?

I don't remember exactly who you are talking about, but that's a shame. The guy who I got mine from was really nice and he gave the feeding record card with some other info on it. I didn't even know noblesville had a show, might have to check it out sometime.

This was the best I have ever seen this show yet, I was very impressed with the vendors and turnout they had today.

Darin of Taylor Made Morphs is such a great guy and really cares about his animals, I've always really liked that guy and his animals. It's nice too that he takes the time to talk to everyone that comes by his table and is genuinely interested in talking to you and answering any questions you may have. I love that Pied that he has, I've held it every time I've been there.

Although my wife really liked a Cal King she saw, We didn't come home with any snakes today, we decided to hold off for the NARBC show in October and will buy a snake off of Brian of BHB.

@ Dinosaur: Congrats and I can't wait to see the pics!:gj:

@ Clint Bundy: I think I saw that Pied your talking about....was it in the middle aisle for $800? If so, I was looking at her too. It looked really nice but I just didn't have that type of cash right now. I was upset that the guy that had her only had her in an aquarium with no heat source whatsoever. I realize that these animals aren't kept in their normal conditions at these shows ( hides and such) so they can be shown off but there wasn't even any substrate in her cage and when I held her, she was COLD, very cold. I felt bad for her and she acted like she wanted to stay in my hands for the warmth. I really hope she went/goes to a good home.

The Noblesville show is held on the first Sunday of every month and while I haven't been to it myself, I have heard from some very good sources that it is a far better show than the Midewest Reptile show. I'm going to make it out to it one of these times.

That was the Pied I was looking at. The best looking juvinile pied there. I asked the guy questions and he didn't have the answers I was looking for. He had no record of feedings or even the hatch date. I also agree she looked cold. I really thought about getting her because other than food that's what I was looking for. Something just told me no. Taylor made had a great looking selection. Had a few Albino's that I thought about getting too. Very nice people. I really liked the Albino Boa's right across the isle from him. There was alot there. Just waiting to get my female pied or 2 before I get anything else now. The rude guy had the spider morphs on the top row of his stuff. He was in the corner right next to the guy with all the spiders and scorpions.

Here we go again, the show is this Saturday, September 25th!

I'll be going again as usual but won't be buying any snakes, I'm saving that purchase for the Tinley park NARBC show.:gj:

This time around I'll only be buying frozen rats and few small items for my next snakes tub.

so did you make it out of the Indy show without anything other then the food and small items?

I was going to go but ran into some banking issues and wasn't able to make it :(

Have you been able to make it to the one in Noblesville yet?

I did in fact control myself and only got what I planned on getting...I've just got my mind set on getting a morph bp from BHB at the NARBC show so it made it easy to not buy one for now.

I did however have some friends with me that were picking out their first bp and I got to help them out which was fun. They are completely new to snakes so they have been calling me the Godfather lol. I have been helping them all I can and I've also pointed them towards this website for all the info they need.
